AN ACT TO AMEND THE APPROPRIATION ACT , NO. 31 OF 2002

BE it enacted by the Parliament of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka as follows :-
|

Short title.
|
1. This Act may be cited as the Appropriation (Amendment) Act, No.43 of 2003.
|
|
Amendment of section 2 of Act No. 31 of 2002.
|
2. Section 2 of the Appropriation Act. No. 31 of 2002 is
hereby amended in paragraph (b) of subsection (1) of that
section, by the substitution for the words “rupees three hundred and sixteen thousand million”, of the words “rupees
three hundred and seventy-five thousand six hundred and fifty seven million.”.

Sinhala text to prevail in case of inconsistency.
|
3. In the event of any inconsistency between the Sinhala
and Tamil texts of this Act, the Sinhala text shall prevail.
